Two Excellent Spanish Resources
Free Language has produced together two excellent resources to guide people in knowing how to learn Spanish online.
One is a mega-page full of everything needed for finding out how to learn Spanish online. It covers, podcasts, video podcasts, news, Web TV, software and more.
The other is a roughly ten-minute video entitled "How to Learn Spanish Online for Free" which you can also watch below.
Free Spanish Podcast
SpanishPod podcasts are professionally produced and updated daily, and the full package includes practical transcriptions, vocabulary lists and online learning tools. All in all, SpanishPod has proven to be a highly effective and practical way to use technology and Web 2.0 to learn Spanish.

Byki is freeware for learning the basics of 74 languages, including Spanish as well as many less-commonly taught languages.
There is an optional upgrade to the commercial product available if you want to continue. The free software works on Windows and Mac.
