wxRemind is a wxPython-based front/back-end for Remind, a powerful calendar and alarm application. The display features a calendar and daily event list suitable for visualizing your schedule at a glance. Dates and associated events can be quickly selected either with the mouse or cursor keys, and dates in the calendar are color coded to reflect the total duration of scheduled events. wxRemind integrates with an external editor of your choice to make editing of reminder files more efficient, provides hotkeys to quickly access the most commonly used options, and allows popup, sound, and/or spoken alarms. GAMGI (General Atomistic Modelling Graphic Interface) is a program to build, view, and analyze atomic strucures such as molecules, crystals, glasses, liquids, etc. It aims to be useful for: the scientific community working in Atomistic Modelling that needs a graphic interface to build input data and to view and analyse output data, calculated with Ab-Initio and Molecular Mechanics programs; the scientific community at large studying chemistry, physics, materials science, geology, etc., that needs a graphic interface to view and analyse atomic structural information and to prepare images for presentations in classes and seminars; teaching chemistry and physics in secondary schools and universities; science promotion in schools, exhibitions and science museums. This release adds mass data for most important isotopes, including isotope abundance and half-life (Wikipedia). It adds radius data including natural half-distances, effective and calculated atomic radius, effective and calculated (2008) covalent radius, and Van der Waals radius (WebElements). It adds the widely used Shannon ionic radius, depending on valence and coordination (Acta Cryst. paper). Option menus have been cleaned up and replaced by combo boxes in Cell->Link, Cell->Create, and Cell->Modify. New screenshots have been added. There is improved Help information for exported type formats, Atom->Create, and Atom->Modify.

This is a maintenance release that features a new SQL application launcher with enhanced security, an object parser with built-in JavaScript support, several critial fixes (a render engine bug that could corrupt background images, a parser problem that corrupted textarea contents, and an io.pl bug that could overwrite existing images during upload), and an updated file system structure (external POD files were replaced by internal module POD information).

ISPConfig is an ISP management and hosting control panel. It manages your Web server, email server, BIND DNS, proftpd + vsftpd FTP server, MySQL databases, SpamAssassin, and disk quotas with an easy to use Web interface for administrators, resellers, and clients. This release adds support for CentOS 5.2 and OpenSuSE 11.0. A new interface for cron jobs and support for mod_python have been added. Several minor bugs were fixed.

GromJS is server-side JavaScript implementation of Mozilla's SpiderMonkey interpreter. It provides Web designers and programmers with the ability to use JavaScript object-based code for creating dynamic pages and Web scripts and to interact with objects on the Web server. For example, it can be used to manipulate files and directories, handle client- sent data and databases, and to create content management systems. Ember is a 3d client for the WorldForge project. It uses the Ogre 3d graphics library for presentation and CEGUI for its GUI system. License: GNU General Public License (GPL) Changes:
This release fixes a couple of memory leaks and improves memory handling overall, as well as fixing some problems with Ogre 1.4.8+ and CEGUI 0.6.1+. The admin interface has been expanded and the terrain editor has been enhanced, as well as entity movement functionality.

The massXpert software package is a mass spectrometry environment for linear (bio-)polymers. It inherits all the innovations of GNU polyxmass. It allows the detailed definition of new polymer chemistries in the XpertDef module. These chemistry definitions are then used in the desktop calculator-like mass calculator (XpertCalc) and in the sophisticated polymer sequence editor and (bio-)chemical/mass spectrometric simulations module (XpertEdit). Available simulations include polymer and monomer chemical modifications, polymer sequence cleavage, gas-phase fragmentation, m/z ratio calculations, and more. This release adds the ability to stack oligomers obtained via different cleavages using different cleaving agents. This makes it possible to gather in a single window all the oligomers generated in a number of cleavage simulations. There are bugfixes. The documentation has been updated.

dim_STAT is a performance analysis and monitoring tool for Solaris and Linux (as well all other UNIX) systems. Its main features are a Web based interface, data storage in a SQL database, several data views, interactive (Java) or static (PNG) graphs, real-time monitoring, multi-host monitoring, post analyzing, statistics integration, professional reporting with automated features, and more. Fusil project is a fuzzing program. Currently, it's specific to Linux command line programs, but the code is designed to be used with any project type (remote process, fake HTTP server, fuzz network socket, etc.). It is based on a multi-agent system instead of a monolithic architecture. License: GNU General Public License v2 Changes:

The "Virtual Universe" is a realistic, three-dimensional cyberspace and virtual reality simulation. People can meet, interact with each other, build houses and whole worlds, simulate workflows, test designs, and much more. Due to its extensive programming interface, this virtual reality environment can be used for scientific and engineering tasks such as simulation and visualization applications. Several sections of copyrighted code were replaced by free implementations, and the software licensing functionality was removed. The full Universe sources are licensed under the GPL v2 now for non-commercial applications.

phpLogCon is a Web front-end for syslog and other network event data. It provides easy browsing and some basic analysis. Data are taken from databases or plain syslog text files, so phpLogCon does not require changes to an existing logging infrastructure. Depending on the log data present, it can process syslog messages, Windows event log entries, and some more exotic things. Its troubleshooting support enables users to quickly find solutions to problems seen in the log data. License: GNU General Public License v3 Changes:

Surfraw (Shell Users' Revolutionary Front Rage Against the Web) provides a Unix command line interface to a variety of popular Web search engines and sites, including Google, Altavista, Wikipedia, Babelfish, Ebay, Wayback, Research Index, Yahoo!, Slashdot, freshmeat, CPAN, dictionaries, weather, currency conversion, and many others. A -country option has been added to the Google tool. The original port tool has been restored, as the site has returned. All breakages caused by sites that have changed their search interfaces have beeen fixed. URL quoting and surfraw-update-path(1) have been fixed.

phpBB is a popular discussion forum system. The JumpBox for phpBB allows anyone to be up and running with this system in under a minute on any OS. Ultimate++ is a cross-platform C++ rapid application development suite. It includes set of libraries (for things like GUI and SQL) and an integrated development environment. Rapid development is achieved by smart and aggressive use of C++ rather than through fancy code generators. In this respect, U++ competes with popular scripting languages while preserving C/C++ runtime characteristics. Its integrated development environment, TheIDE, introduces modular conception to C++ programming, and can be used to develop non-U++ applications.

This version fixes a rather unpleasant bug that could cause link quality to remain stuck at infinity under some circumstances. It also recovers faster when a neighbor has the bad taste to change its link-local address, and further improves scalability when redistributing massive amounts of external routes.

JExpress is a cross platform Java installer builder. JExpress generates native installers on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It installs the exact version of the JVM you want and also configures your customers' machines to launch your Java application from a native executable on Windows and Mac OS X. You customize your installer, updater, and uninstaller using Java. Installers can be designed with multiple install types or components. Jess is a fast, light rule engine and scripting environment written entirely in Java. You can build Java software that has the capacity to "reason" using knowledge you supply in the form of declarative rules.
